Week 23 Review: Sweet Peril

From Goodreads:
Anna Whitt, the daughter of a guardian angel and a demon, promised herself she'd never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She'd been naive to make such a vow. She'd been naive about a lot of things.

Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means embracing her dark side and earning an unwanted reputation as her school's party girl. Her life has never looked more bleak. And all the while there's Kaidan Rowe, son of the Duke of Lust, plaguing her heart and mind.

When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life?

My Review:
Oh, man! Loved this book, so freaking much! It's different from Sweet Evil, which was about Anna learning about the dark, this book was about her having to live with it, the gifts and the consequences of her angel heritage, and gathering allies for the time when she fulfils the prophecy told to her by the nun that died before she could get to her in Evil!

I loved her travels to her allies, and her explanations of what was going on, and getting a bit more of a look at life for Neph who were raised knowing that they were Neph, and with their dads there, and not have it turn out that their dad was a faker for the dark side like Anna. So that was enlightening in a sad way, because yeah, they were not treated well!

Her and Kai! So great together, how they know that they shouldn't be together, how they push each other away, but eventually agree-they should be together, and that they are going to fight to be together, because yeah, they totally should!!

I did feel sorry for Kope, but since he seemed to develop a bit of a love interest, near the end, so yeah, that was nice! I felt really bad for Flynn, because he gets murdered for the cause, while they were there, hidden, but watching, that was so sad!!!

I loved this book, and I can't wait for the last book, I know it's going to be awesome!!
