Week 3 Review: Halfway to the Grave

From Goodreads:
Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father--the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.

In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner--are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side . . . and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

My Review:
Oh, wow! What an amazing, fantastic, book, and one that should be worshipped, I think, because it's the start of a series that I know is going to be just as good, or better, because I mean, these pages just went gone like that  *snap*

Cat and Bones, I mean, wow, so awesome, together and separate, their histories, their characters, the depth, the real-ness, and yeah, their banter, or like when Bones was saying dirty things to her, so she could learn to stop blushing, and then turns out he meant each and every thing, and then actually did that to her (abet, off screen) yeah.

But this book wasn't just a romance-it was a mystery, of finding this one guy, by slowly unravelling his connections, and then the odd occurrence, of a "friend" she made, who tried to kidnap Cat, but ended up dead, which served her right, the evil faker!

Then the ending? Where Cat has to give up Bones, so she can save him, and to work for those that she's saving him from, well, that was really tragic, and while I know it's not going to last (because they're together in the next book, and each one that's listed thus far) it's still going to happen for a while, so yeah, so sad!!!

I absolutely loved this book, and yeah, can't wait to read more!!
