Week 38 Review: Deep Kiss of Winter

From Goodreads:
#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR KRESLEY COLE delivers a breathtaking tale of a brutal vampire soldier about to know love for the first time . . . and a Valkyrie aching for his touch.

Murdoch Wroth will stop at nothing to claim Daniela—the delicate Valkyrie who makes his heart beat for the first time in three hundred years. Yet the exquisite Danii is part ice fey, and her freezing skin can't be touched by anyone but her own kind without inflicting pain beyond measure. Can they conquer an agony of frustration and slake the overwhelming desire burning between them?

NEW YORK TIMES AND USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR GENA SHOWALTER puts a daring spin on a tale of huntress and hunted . . . and concocts a sensual chemistry that is positively explosive.

With only skin-to-skin contact, Aleaha Love can change her appearance, assume any identity. Now she's an AIR (alien investigation and removal) agent on a mission to capture a group of otherworldly warriors. Only she is held captive when dangerously seductive Breean, a golden-skinned, iron-willed commander, threatens her new life—and for the first time, Aleaha wants only to be herself.

My Review:
I loved this story (since I only read the 2nd one, because I read this to read the Gena Showalter novel, and I haven't read any of Kresley Cole 's books, so I'd be jumping into the middle of a story if I just read it) and yeah, it was really great!

I really enjoyed Aleaha and Brennan's relationship, starting when he comes to Earth when AIR thinks the Schon Queen is coming, so yeah, not the greatest start to their relationship! But yeah, it grows from there, because they are attracted to one another, and they just can't stay away from each other! And then he says that she's human who's adapted to the aliens coming, which was just so sweet!

One thing that I want to know more about, is why the Schon Queen rejected him, and a few others, she must have some reason why, and if she does, then maybe they can use it against her, and yeah, that would be a good thing!

And I think-like, I'm 98% sure, that this is actually #3.5, because they are together in Seduce the Darkness, which is #4, so yeah, it's between Savor Me Slowly and Seduce the Darkness, then it must be #3.5, not #4.5, so I wish that I'd known that, and then I could've read them in order!

Loved this story, and I can't wait to read more Gena Showalter books!
